We are currently looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen
team in our new high quality cafeteria-style restaurant located at
the hub of the action in the main paddock and pits area.
The Head Chef, leading their team, will be responsible for the production of a variety of tasty, wholesome dishes of a high standard for our 200 seat restaurant, which is typically open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and evenings on Fridays and Saturdays.
Applicants will need to have experience of working within a professional catering environment, and be accustomed to coping with high volume service.
They must be conversant with food hygiene regulations and Health and Safety legislation, and preferably stock control and menu budgeting. Maintaining a clean and tidy working area should be second nature and a friendly and outgoing personality with an ability to manage kitchen staff and communicate at all levels is essential.
Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to working hours as the busiest times for the venue are weekends and Bank Holidays.
